Every aesthetic our brand lives in — the boho prints, the sunset palettes, the whole van-as-freedom idea — traces back to one vehicle family: the Volkswagen bus. So writing about VW Bus and Vanagon seat covers feels less like a product guide and more like sending care instructions to the grandparents.
By generation, honestly
Split-window and Bay-window buses (T1/T2): bench seating throughout, increasingly precious, often original. If yours has survivor upholstery, our sincere advice is the loose route — a woven throw rug draped over the bench protects it without hiding a sixty-year-old survivor under stretch fabric. Preservation beats coverage here.
Vanagon (T3): the sweet spot. Front seats are proper buckets with separate headrests — a universal stretch cover fits them the normal way, one minute per seat. Westfalia rear benches fold into beds, so keep those loose-layered too. Vanagon cloth is thirty-plus years old at best; a washable cover over it is how weekend drivers keep the crumble at bay (rescue tactics).

Prints that were always going home
Our whole catalog secretly auditions for these vans. Sol's orange sunburst on a Vanagon bucket, Cosmos's flowers-and-stars in a Bay window, a sunburst rug across a Westy bed — this is the aesthetic returning to its source.
